Sullivan-Palatek developed the UD-Series industrial electric updraft model air compressor, which is reliable in any environment. These versatile products are available in a range of 40-50 hp. The updraft design of the compressors allows them to recover or exhaust hot air through the top of the machine. Additionally, they have a dedicated fan motor, a side by side lube cooler, and an air-cooled aftercooler for easy cleaning. The energy efficient design and small footprint of this compressor make it an ideal product for medium-sized plastics manufacturing plants, woodworking shops, and dry-cleaning facilities.

- The up-draft cooler design vents air away from the package. This is a possible space-saving feature that allows heat recovery that could be used for various purposes: supplement space heating, heating of liquids, drying processes, etc.
- Motor with Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled (TEFC) enclosure type for indoor and outdoor use
- The motor starter has a water-tight, dust-tight, sleet resistant NEMA 4 enclosure for indoor and outdoor use
