3-Day Course | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST
Focused on our D185-375, D750-900, and D1300-1800 portable diesel units, this course is ideal for technicians working in mobile environments.
Topics Covered:
• Operating principles of rotary screw air compressors
• Preventive maintenance procedures
• Reading electrical, air/oil, and control schematics
• Troubleshooting compressor system issues
• Optimizing air control systems and engine throttle
• Electronic controller use and data retrieval (IT4 and T4 engines)

3-Day Course | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST
Designed for new hires, sales reps, or techs new to the industry.
Topics Covered:
• Rotary screw compressor theory and terminology
• Maintenance on M, D, DG, UD & SP series units
• Shaft seal and lubrication knowledge
• Non-MPC control setup
• Full schematic interpretation
• Proper installation methods

A deep dive for those who’ve completed the basic course.
Topics Covered:
• Component interrelationships across D, UD & SP series
• VFD configuration using Yaskawa drives
• MPC and Q1/T1 microprocessor setup
• Troubleshooting advanced control issues
Requirement: Must complete the Basic course

4–6 Hour Virtual Class | Monthly Sessions
This online training is designed for end users seeking a practical understanding of Sullivan-Palatek diesel compressors. The course focuses on identifying common issues and improving day-to-day equipment operation.
Topics Covered:
• Component descriptions and system overview
• How parts function within the compressor
• Troubleshooting the control system for optimal performance
• Identifying and resolving common issues
• Enhancing collaboration with our Service Department
• Improving routine maintenance practices
Requirement: Computer with internet access | Microsoft Teams
Fee: $100.00 per student
